Favorite Burger Search in Alabama

We reached out to our followers to find out where they go when they crave the most delicious burger. Boy, did we get a response! So, here’s the thing, we cannot physically get to every burger restaurant on the list… I mean we’ll try because we ain’t quitters…but logically, we won’t be able to. We definitely need some input into this process.

The first thing I need to know is what makes a burger delicious for you? For us, we look for a burger with a good bun… soft but sturdy and capable of handling all the good stuff on the burger. The burger itself should be cooked to medium, not dry, and have that bit of good crust on the edges. Not necessarily a smash burger - but there should be a bit of crust on the meat. The cheese must be melty…. no stiff cold cheese for us. Toppings range from the classic pickles, lettuce, onion, and tomato to jalapenos, caramelized onions, and bacon. Now here’s the thing, I (Jenny) don’t love bacon on my burger. It’s crazy talk, I know but I would rather skip the bacon. The flavors have to blend well but shouldn’t hide the flavor of the meat. If it does, then it’s way low on our list. Oh, and bigger is not always better. Sometimes the burger is ridiculously large.
